To facilitate resurfacing works, Cockington Road is to be closed between Monday 19th October and Friday 30th October (08:00-17:00 each weekday). There are no works on the weekend of 24th/25th October.

Pink 28 towards Bilborough will be normal route along Bracebridge Drive to Burnside Green, where buses will terminate at the Burnside Green named stop.

Pink 28 towards City will depart the Burnside Green named stop and follow normal route along Bracebridge Drive.

Orange 35 towards Strelley and Bulwell will be normal route to Balloon Wood, buses will then turn right onto Trowell Road, left Glaisdale Drive, left Burnside Road and right onto Bracebridge Drive and normal route.

Orange 35 towards City will be normal route along Bracebridge Drive to Burnside Green, buses will then turn left onto Burnside Road, right Glaisdale Drive, right Trowell Road to Balloon Wood and left onto Wollaton Vale and normal route.

Stops on Cockington Road, Birchover Road, Stotfield Road and Bilborough Road cannot be served during these works.

Closure of Seller's Wood Drive

Yellow 69 towards Snape Wood will divert from 07:30 on Monday 19th October until 18:00 Friday 30th October, whilst Cadent Gas carry out works on Seller's Wood Drive.

Yellow 69 towards Snape Wood. Buses will be normal route along Ravensworth Road. At the junction with Hoewood buses will continue on Ravensworth Road, turning left onto Camberley Road and right onto Seller's Wood Drive and normal route.

Yellow 69 towards City will be normal route.

Maid Marian Way Demolition Works - Stop Changes

To keep buses moving during the current Maid Marian Way demolition works, we’re temporarily changing the City Centre bus stops for our Turquoise Line services.

These changes will be in place all day, every day until the works are complete and are designed to give certainty to customers about where these buses will stop. By avoiding the demolition area, the reliability of these services will improve.

Navy 1, 4, 48/A and Pathfinder 90 are not stopping on Maid Marian Way (stop M5) outside the old college for journeys towards City.

Red 45/B - the Maid Marian Way stop near The Salutation is closed. Please use stop coded M2 outside the Nottingham Lighting Centre.

Turquoise 77/C, 78/A/B, 79/B

From Canning Circus, these services will run along Talbot Street to NTU City Campus and then continue along Shakespeare Street and North Church Street to terminate alongside The Cornerhouse on Burton Street.

Buses to Strelley and Bulwell will begin from Burton Street, alongside The Cornerhouse (stop T7) and then exit the City using Upper Parliament Street as normal.

Buses will not serve their stops on Maid Marian Way, Broadmarsh, George Street, Fletcher Gate or Victoria Centre.

Stop Closed - Sneinton Hermitage

The Meadow Lane named stop, used by Red 44/A towards Gedling is closed as part of improvement works in the area.

Roadworks - Lowdham Roundabout

20th Sep 2026 onwards

As part of the A6097/A614 improvement scheme, there will be works at Lowdham roundabout from 20th September 2026 for approx. 13 months.

These works are likely to cause delays to Pathfinder 26.

Some road closures will be required, and we are working with VIA and the contractors to minimise the impact these may have.

Roadworks - Ilkeston Road

There are delays on Pink 28 and 30 because of roadworks on Ilkeston Road at the Triumph Road junction.

The Triumph Road named stop, used by buses towards City, is closed.

City Hospital

21st Jun 2026 onwards

Linden Way is closed to all traffic until further notice, affecting Blue 40A.

Blue 40A to City Hospital will follow normal route to Edwards Lane, but continue further along Edwards Lane and enter the City Hospital through Gate 4 to terminate at the Radiotherapy named stop on North Road.

Blue 40A to City will start from the Radiotherapy named stop on North Road and resume normal route.

Closure of Town Street, Bramcote

26th Oct 2026

Town Street in Bramcote is to be closed between 08:00-15:30 on Monday 26th Oct to allow for tree maintenance works.

During this time service 18 will divert as follows:

Buses to Stapleford will be normal route as far as the junction with Town Street and Church Street. Buses will turn right onto Church Street, left A52 and normal route from Bramcote Island.

Buses to Nottingham will be normal route to Bramcote Island. Buses will then use the A52 to Sandby Lane, then Sandringham Drive, Thoresby Road and A52 to Church Street. Buses will then resume normal route from Town Street.

Buses will not stop on this diversion route.

Closure of Killisick Road

26th - 30th Oct 2026

Resurfacing works are being carried out on Killisick Road. Between 26th Oct and 30th Oct, (08:00-18:00 each day) Lime 58 will divert:

Lime 58 towards Killisick. Buses will be normal route as far as Birchfield Road, buses will then turn right onto Beechwood Road, left Coppice Road, left Howbeck Road and left Gleneagles Drive to the bus terminus.

Lime 58 towards City will depart Killisick bus terminus and use Gleneagles Drive, right onto Howbeck Road, right Coppice Road, right Beechwood Road and left onto Birchfield Road and normal route.

Closure of Sneinton Hermitage

29th - 30th Oct 2026

Works are taking place on Sneinton Hermitage that will require a diversion to Red 44 from 19:00 until the end of service on Thursday 29th October.

Buses will divert as follows:

Towards Netherfield: At the junction of Sneinton Hermitage., buses will continue on Manvers Street, over the bridge and left onto Daleside Road. Buses will then resume normal route from Racecourse Park and RIde.

Towards City: From Racecourse Park and Ride buses will continue on Daleside Road, turning right onto Manvers Street and normal route.

Passengers who would normally use Sneinton Hermitage or Colwick Road should make use of Red 43 on Sneinton Dale, or Daleside Road.

Closure of Meadow Lane, Loughborough.
