From Wednesday 9th September until the end of November 2026, there will be temporary changes to Maid Marian Way and the roads around it whilst the former NCP car park is taken down and the demolition of the former Nottingham College building begins.

South Notts 1, Navy 4, 48/A and Pathfinder 90 will not stop on Maid Marian Way towards City.
Orange 34/C to University Park will not stop near The Salutation. Please use the stop outside Nottingham Lighting Centre (coded M2), further up Maid Marian Way.
Red 45/B to Rivendell will not stop near The Salutation. Please use the stop outside Nottingham Lighting Centre (coded M2), further up Maid Marian Way. The stop under the old car park won’t be served, with buses stopping on Canal Street (coded C2) instead.

Gas works are taking place on Rectory Road, West Bridgford between Monday 28th September and Friday 9th October 2026.
During these works, Green 7, 8 and 9 to City will not be able to serve Central Avenue Shops.
Buses will operate along Rectory Road then left Bridgford Road, resuming normal route from Co-op.
Green 5/A, 6 and 12/C/E will continue to stop at Central Avenue Shops, but for the full Green Line frequency to City Centre, please use the stop near the Co-op. -

Overnight Closure of Loughborough Road, Ruddington
28th Sep 2026 - 2nd Oct 2026
Works are taking place overnight on Loughborough Road in Ruddington between Flawforth Lane and Bradmore Lane.
These works are scheduled to take place between 20:00 - 06:00 each night when we do not serve this part of Loughborough.
In the event the road has not re-opened at 06:00, the first 10A to Ruddington Business Park (05:32 from City) and first 10C from Ruddington Business Park at 06:01 may be delayed. -
Closure of Easthorpe Street
21st Sep 2026 - 2nd Oct 2026
Drainage works are taking place on part of Easthorpe Street in Ruddington that will require a diversion to Green 10/C.
Between Monday 21st September and Friday 2nd October, buses will divert as follows all day:
Green 10/C towards Ruddington Green or Business Park: Buses will be normal route to the junction of Rufford Road/Easthorpe Street, buses will then turn left onto Easthorpe Street, right A60 Loughborough Road, right Kirk Lane and left High Street to Ruddington Green. The 10C then continues to Ruddington Business Park.
Green 10/C towards City will be normal route to the Church Street/High Street junction, buses will then turn right High Street, left Kirk Lane, left A60, left Easthorpe Street and right onto Rufford Road and normal route. -

Closure of Bathley Street
7th Sep 2026 onwards
Works are taking place at the Arkwright Street/Bathley Street junction. To enable these works, the junction will be closed and Green 11/C will need to divert .
Until the end of service Friday 9th October inclusive, buses will operate as follows:
Green 11/C To Lady Bay: Buses will be normal route to Nottingham Train Station. Buses will then continue on Arkwright Street, left Meadows Way and onto London Road to normal route from Victoria Embankment.
Green 11/C to City: Buses are now normal route, following changes to traffic management.
Passengers wanting to travel to Bathley Street or Wilford Grove from the City should catch any NCT Green line service 5/A, 6, 7, 8, 9/B, 10/A/C to Ryehill Street and then make their way along Bathley Street to the Bunbury Street named stop.
Passengers who normally alight at Bridgeway Centre should make use of Navy 48. -

There are daytime diversions in Arnold Town Centre from Monday 28th September to Friday 2nd October because of works on High Street.
Between 09:30 and 15:30 each day:
Buses will not serve the Arnold High Street named stop behind ASDA. Please use the stop further down High Street near High Street Avenue for the 25, 53, 54, 55, 58 or Arnold Front Street for the 56.
Lime 56 to City will not serve Croft Road or Ravenswood Road and after departing Arnold Front Street is turning right Coppice Road to normal route.
All stops on diversion will be served.

As part of the A6097/A614 improvement scheme, there will be works at Lowdham roundabout from 20th September 2026 for approx. 13 months.
These works are likely to cause delays to Pathfinder 26.
Some road closures will be required, and we are working with VIA and the contractors to minimise the impact these may have.

Blue 40A to City will start from the Radiotherapy named stop on North Road and resume normal route.

Maid Marian Way Demolition Works
9th Sep 2026 onwards
From Wednesday 9th September until the end of November 2026, there will be temporary changes to Maid Marian Way and the roads around it whilst the former NCP car park is taken down and the demolition of the former Nottingham College building begins.

There will be lane restrictions and temporary traffic lights in use which will cause severe delays.
The following stop changes are in place, but there may be additional stop changes based on traffic congestion. Look out for separate Service Updates.
South Notts 1, Navy 4, 48/A and Pathfinder 90 will not stop on Maid Marian Way towards City.
Orange 34/C to University Park will not stop near The Salutation. Please use the stop outside Nottingham Lighting Centre (coded M2), further up Maid Marian Way.
Red 45/B to Rivendell will not stop near The Salutation. Please use the stop outside Nottingham Lighting Centre (coded M2), further up Maid Marian Way. The stop under the old car park won’t be served, with buses stopping on Canal Street (coded C2) instead.
Turquoise 77/C, 78/A/B and 79/B will not stop near The Salutation. Please use the stop outside the Park Plaza Hotel (coded M1), further up Maid Marian Way.
As we change drivers on these services on Maid Marian Way, some buses will operate around to Mount Street for their driver change.

Resurfacing works are taking place on Church Street in Lambley during the daytime from Monday 28th September to Thursday 1st October 2026 inclusive.
Between 08:00 - 16:00 daily, buses will divert as follows:
Buses towards Calverton will follow normal route as far as Lambley, Spring Lane. Buses will divert left Catfoot Lane, right Mapperley Plains, right Nottingham Road, continue Bank Hill to Woodborough. Buses will then turn left Foxwood Lane to resume normal route to Calverton.
Buses towards Nottingham will follow normal route to Foxwood Lane as they enter Woodborough, but will then turn right Bank Hill, continue Nottingham Road, left Mapperley Plains, left Catfoot Lane to Lambley then right Spring Lane to resume normal route to Nottingham.
In Woodborough, please use stops near Woodborough Hall. In Lambley, the main stop is near the end of Catfoot Lane.

Contractors working on behalf of Nottingham City Council Highways Maintenance are carrying out a large-scale resurfacing project on Nuthall Road.
Phase 2 will be in place each weekday evening (19:00 - 06:00) between Monday 28th September and Wednesday 14th October inclusive.
Yellow 71/B and Turquoise 79/B are diverting as follows:
Yellow 71/B to Bulwell will follow normal route to Percy Street then divert following the Yellow 70/B route along Bagnall Road to resume normal route from Headstocks. Buses will stop on the diversion route.
Yellow 71 to City will follow normal route.
Yellow 79/B to Bulwell and Arnold will follow normal route to Nuthall Road then divert left Melbourne Road, right Aspley Lane, right Broxtowe Lane to resume normal route from Bells Lane. Buses will not stop on the diversion route.
